Both Steve and I woke up with the taste of tequila still fresh in our mouths. Steve was sporting a fresh war wound from his 'face plant' while crossing the road last night. This made for a great story when we arrived at the Gas Monkey Garage.
Our car was still with 'Vietnam Sue' getting the upholstery fixed up but we had quite a bit of filming to get through before picking up the car so this was not an issue. We had a look at some of the other cars that the Gas Monkeys were working on and got taken for a spin in a couple of street rods. Man, these cars move! When we arrived back at the shop there were definitely skid marks on areas other than the road.
The filming continued and then Richard told us that he wanted to get his guys to do a full mechanical work over on the car. Because of this it would not be ready until tomorrow but the Gas Monkeys had 'something special' planned for us to help fill in the time.... After last night we were excited but also a little scared.
